  • [Mac] FIXED: Redirecting to an app by selecting the Application option in a rule was not working. (discussions#114)
  • FIXED: RedirectWeb's app icons were not displayed correctly on the app-opening page and the error page.

The first issue was reported by @tpeacock-vssl. Thank you very much for your help! 🙇

• Browser Extensions
  • Fixed an issue where DNR rules stopped working after modifying another rule.
    • For example, suppose there are 2 enabled DNR rules, A and B. When launching the browser, they both work as expected. However, once A is disabled or its title is modified, B also stops working until the browser is restarted.
    • This was caused by an issue in RedirectWeb's internal rule update logic. We apologize for the inconvenience.
• App
  • Improved the dark mode UI visibility.
  • Fixed a typo in the Paywall screen.

The DNR issue and the typo were both reported by users. Thank you very much for your cooperation! 🙇

This version is for RedirectWeb Pro on macOS only.

It includes a fix for the issue where the app bundle name was incorrect. It used to be RedirectWeb.app but now it's RedirectWeb Pro.app.

This is a follow-up to version 10.2.0 for RedirectWeb Pro on macOS.

This version is for RedirectWeb Pro on macOS only.

It includes a fix for the issue where the app bundle name was incorrect (RedirectWeb Pro.app was incorrectly named RedirectWeb.app).

However, the fix was not properly implemented, so we released version 10.2.1 to address it.

Sorry for the confusion.

• [iOS] Added new MDM settings for MDM platforms that don't support the Dictionary type in the managed app configuration. Now you can also specify rules using raw JSON string in the .redirectweb file you can export from the app. (Details: MDM Settings for Admins)

• [In Progress] Add macOS support for RedirectWeb Pro

  • For Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and other non-Safari browsers, please use the same extension listed in the download links below. The extension will automatically recognize RedirectWeb Pro after you launch the app.

Introducing a new paid version

We launched a new app called RedirectWeb Pro, a separate paid version of RedirectWeb. It offers the same features as the fully unlocked version of RedirectWeb.

RedirectWeb Pro is especially suitable for users who want to purchase it in bulk (Volume Purchase) via Apple Business Manager or Apple School Manager. (Apple doesn't support Volume Purchase for in-app purchases, so we created a separate app.)

Other Changes

• Minor performance improvements and bug fixes.
• Browser extension
  • Replaced the toolbar icon with the full-color app icon.
• iOS, iPadOS, visionOS
  • Updated the video tutorial on the tutorial page.

This version is to roll out the changes introduced in 9.3.0 and 9.4.0 to macOS.

• macOS App
  • ADDED Support for MDM settings. If you are an IT admin in your company or school, you can now distribute redirection rules to your employees/students via MDM! (Details: MDM Settings for Admins)
